My other ferret, Alice, is being much more sympathetic to her all of a sudden. Its very hard to lose a pet, I had lost a dog in march. we had also rescued her. she was gonna die the next day.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26172328.post-67285125853887601432007-06-01T08:34:00.000-07:002007-06-01T08:34:00.000-07:00Aww :o( I am sorry to hear about your little guy,...Aww :o( I am sorry to hear about your little guy, how neat that the other ferret was "holding" Madison as her time came, you are right these creatures do have feelings!

I hope that you and your family AND ferrets are handling the loss well...

Blessings...Not the Waltonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07706496469114408633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26172328.post-81805058408901044692007-05-10T23:42:00.000-07:002007-05-10T23:42:00.000-07:00Thanks for posting to Old Fashioned Girl. I do cat rescue and they constantly amaze me. I have one cat just now who, when one of the other fosterlings is sick sits next to them and *purrs* just like a mummy cat. And he's a he, not a she!NotJustLaurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09742465351335342907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26172328.post-22919847767241988932007-05-09T18:35:00.000-07:002007-05-09T18:35:00.000-07:00I got all teary eyed reading this. I know they - and you will miss her. I agree, animals totally have feelings. No doubt. My dog Maggie cries on my husband's pillow at night every time he deploys for about a week.

Love, MichelleMilitary Mommyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08160911246487602764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26172328.post-19762163971266232522007-05-09T04:56:00.000-07:002007-05-09T04:56:00.000-07:00We have 2 older ferrets and one is running out of ...We have 2 older ferrets and one is running out of time. Its hard. We lost quite a few critters over the last year and a half and the cat we have had the longest ran away.
Our remaining 3 cats are all over 10. I love having pets but there are times I feel like its to much.Maggiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11863752523036124786noreply@blogger.com
