My husband and I were watching "Nature." The episode was about wildlife photographers who shoot images of big cats in Africa. Well, Shadow caught sight of one cat (I believe it's a cervil, but I don't know how to spell that) stalking an antelope in the night. He sat up, alert, and started whining! He sat on the end of my chair and watched the whole show! It was so funny, I had to take a picture.

I tried to edit to change 'site' to 'sight' but it didn't work. I really do know how to spell, LOL! Blame it on the vestiges of Nyquil.
SO funny! My dog never notices what's on TV, unless there's a doorbell sound--then he barks. :)
I think what you saw on TV is a civet cat. Very common in the jungles of Borneo.
Cute dog, yours. Mine responds to the sounds from TV but doesn't seem to notice what's on the screen.
