Sew Crafty Friday

This is a dress and hat I'm making for Ada. The hat itself is done. I need to sew the hem (it's already marked) and stitch the facing at the zipper. The facing is the same stripe as the brim on the hat. I made the hanger to match, too! Oh, and I need to put pink seam binding around the armholes. But it's pretty close to being done!

I am really impressed. I have a pattern here for a dress for the girls that comes with a hat. I have never dared to try the hat. You have inspired me to give it a go. I'm sure they would love a matching hat. The matching hanger blew me away. I'm sure Ada will look like a princess. That is such a great idea. Thanks for sharing and joining in today. I can't wait to see the rest of your works in progress as you go along.

The outfit is adorable! I need to drag out my sewing stuff, I haven't touched it all winter.

That is so adorable! You are doing a wonderful job! Keep it up!

Do you make a matching hanger for most outfits you make?

Blessing!

That dress is so adorable. I wish that I had the patience to do something like that. I have always admired women who are good at crafts and sewing and I so want to be one of them. My husband says that our Christmas is proof that we have no sense of style whatsoever. No matter how hard we try it always looks a little "Off". Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and you are welcome back anytime!
