Sew Crafty Friday

Here is a blouse I'm making for the 8-year-old I babysit. I just have to do the hem and close up where I put the elastic in the neck. Angelina has already tried it on and it looks cute on her. It's a very easy pattern, McCall's 5135. It ties in the back and the skirt part is cut on the bias, so it has a nice twirl to it! I made my own bias tape for the neckline.

Please visit "Waiting for Him" (see my sidebar) for more Sew Crafty Friday fun, and join in while you're at it!

Its a cute blouse and the 8 year old will love it! She has a great babysitter!

Thanks for entering me in the contest. That's great!

You're right about concentrating on one thing. I'm thinking of concentratiang on one room each week like Flylady, but I keep getting sidetracked!

Cute shirt! I haven't sewn anything in months, but I have plans for a few wool skirts this fall. :)
