It's time for crafty deliciousness at Shereen's Blog! http://w8ng4him.blogspot.com/
Here's my humble donation. It's a very simple a-line dress for a toddler. The fabric is seersucker. I just love it for children's wear, as it seems to stay so nice and crisp. The neckline and sleeves have yellow bias binding around them sewn with a red decorative stitch. I sewed two buttons at each shoulder. The dress zips up the back.
I have to find the pattern I used for this. I think I picked it out precisely because it's simple design will make it easy to alter and design new jumpers. Besides, I'm not even sure what size I cut out, so I have to figure that, too, LOL!
I hope you visit Shereen's blog and join in Sew Crafty Friday today!

I use to sew a lot but I dont anymore. This looks so cute. I love seersucker but my 25 year old daughter thinks its hopelessly oldfashioned. When my 11 year old was little almost everything she owned was in seersucker.
This will very cute and cool this summer! Good job and cute fabric too.
This actually looks simple enough that I could maybe sew it...although I am almost clueless beyond a basic button or hem;) Joanne's is having a $1.99 pattern sale I heard, maybe I should go there and look for something like this.
I like your Sorta Frugal blog name, it's actually how I feel about myself. Every time I think I'm really frugal, I think of those few items I buy that I'm a total snob about, LoL.
Thanks for stopping by my blog...I'm really bad about leaving long comments, in case you didn't notice:)
I LOVE it!!!
I have that same fabric, and I love the A-line look. Great looking trim too. Nice touch!
That is so cute. I need to get my machine out!
Beautiful job, as always. I love the fabric!
that is TOO cute!!! I can just see my little grand daughter running around in that...that is if her mom would ever put a DRESS on the child!!!
Cute! I could picture something like that on my little one. i have a sewing machine and don't even know where to get started.
The strawberries are so cute!
I pretty much have to scrapbook in 12x12-- since photography is a huge hobby of mine (I almost majored in it), I always have a ton of pictures for everything, and I pretty much need that much space so I can fit more photos! (And even so, I still often end up doing multiple layouts or having to make mini-albums for the pages!) But I do agree that the post-bound albums are kind of a pain in the neck.
Thanks for stopping by, as always!
I love the dress wish it would fit my Kaytlynn. I always dressed her in cute little things like this.
Thanks for the well wishes,Brenda
Darling! :-)
